ROB ZOMBIE LIVE!! | WALNUT CREEK

Rob Zombie.  Need I say more?
Rob Zombie is one of the most hard hitting theatrically horror driven metal musicians of his genre best known for his unique blend of musically composed sci-fi/horror style of songwriting and video production.   His resume of talent expands beyond music and into directing, acting and movie producing.  He is well known for directing the crazy and mentally scarring movies called “The Devils Rejects” and “3 from Hell” as well as several others.  We also can’t forget to mention he was one of the founding members of the band “White Zombie” in which he was the front man for as well as songwriter and producer.  Now that you know a little bit about Rob Zombie let’s talk about the show!

Rob Zombie performed to a packed house at the Walnut Creek Amphitheater (Coastal Credit Union Music Park) in Raleigh NC with support from the legendary rock icon Alice Cooper.  Also in attendance was the band “Ministry” and “Filter” whom both have an impressive line up of hit songs from the 90’s.  Rob Zombie is one of the performers that brings over the top energy to the stage.  He is relentless during his performance with continually moving around the stage and engaging with the fans while singing some of his biggest songs.  His performance included a variety of different colored lights swiftly moving across the stage and the crowd as well as large amounts of smoke being pumped out from the back of the stage creating this almost horror like movie experience.  The stage platform was enormous and each part of it was place like a puzzle piece that could be moved around on a whim.   The entire venue went wild every time he moved around the stage and music fans were singing back every lyric to Rob Zombie as if they were on the stage performing themselves.   It was an incredible sight to see.

I have been a fan of Rob Zombie since the White Zombie day’s and have always enjoyed the music he creates.  If you want to have an experience that feels almost like you are walking into a haunted horror house while headbanging then this is the tour, you should not miss!
