ENRIQUE IGLESIAS LIVE!! | PNC ARENA

F28 covering another legendary Spanish singer songwriter by the national known name of “Enrique Iglesias”.  With an outstanding music career that has included selling over 70 million records worldwide, five top 100 billboard chart singles, holds the record for the most number one hit songs on the Hot Latin Songs chart with 27, was honored in 2022 with the top Latin artists of all time at the Latin Billboard Awards as well as 14 number one songs on the dance charts as well has have hit songs on English language pop music charts just shows you the impact he has had on music!  Enrique released his first English language album in 1999 which included the hit song “Rhythm Divine”.  This was followed up with another hit called “Be with you” and then another banger called “Escape” and “Hero”.  These songs cemented him even further into a respected performer and singer.  Now that we talked a little bit about history let’s get to the show!

On this night at the PNC Arena in Raleigh Enrique performed as the opening act for a huge tour with fellow chart-topping artists Pitbull and Ricky Martin.  I have been told that they all share the headliner billing and switch up the rotation from show to show.  This tour is this once in a lifetime opportunity to see these three major musical acts on one bill which is one you don’t want to miss.  As the show started to commence the stadium, which was filled with about 15,000 people started to erupt.  In the blink of an eye the lights went dark, and you could feel the ground shake as 15,000 people started jumping up and down in excitement.  Before Enrique hit the stage a plume of smoke started to drift from the stage and this incredible light show started to encapsulate the stage.  As the lights got brighter and brighter, they then suddenly went dim, and you saw the silhouette of Enrique Iglesias.  I must admit, that was one of the best entrances to an artist’s performance I have seen in a long time.

After Enrique made his entrance, he started to sing and during this time you could see these blue almost laser like lights circling him with these design patterns surrounding him.  It was such a cool effect and would love to know how they did that!  Enrique’s performance was full of energy as he ran across the stages making sure to say hello to everyone in the arena.  He sounded great and his voice was clean and clear.  Everyone in the arena was dancing with each song and singing along to the ones they know.  He mixed his performance with some Latin language songs and English language songs.  I really was impressed with the excitement and energy he brought to his performance, and it was a great one to watch.

Don’t miss this tour, three great artists on one bill! You can check out our coverage or Ricky Martin and Pitbull on our website.
