As part of her 30th anniversary tour, Sarah McLachlan stopped in Kansas City on Sunday June 9th to perform at Starlight Theater. Kicking the show off with ‘Sweet Surrender’ Sarah instantly had the whole crowd up on their feet singing along. Before the show a video played explaining that proceeds from each ticket was going towards the Sarah McLachlan's school of music, a music program that provides community access to underserved children and youth in Edmonton, Vancouver and Surrey. It was really heartwarming to see how the crowd reacted to that news and all broke out in claps and cheers. Overall, the Fumbling Towards Ecstasy show was the perfect way to wrap up a great weekend in Kansas City.
