KITTEN RELEASES NEW TRACK "GOODBYE HONEYMOON PHASE"

ANNOUNCE NEW EP GOODBYE HONEYMOON PHASE OUT OCTOBER 11TH

Pop rock weirdos KITTEN release the title track from their upcoming EP Goodbye Honeymoon Phase via RED music. On "Goodbye Honeymoon Phase", the band takes the 90s singer-songwriter nostalgia of lead single "Memphis", and blasts it into the present with bit-crushed guitars and glassy synthesizers. Flaunting newfound lyrical precision, KITTEN captures the moment when a relationship loses its luster, and the future becomes uncertain. We've all been there before, but it's never sounded this good. Listen to "Goodbye Honeymoon Phase" HERE. The full five-song EP drops October 11th.

If you've kept an eye on underground pop for the last half-decade, you've probably come across the name KITTEN; but it's only recently that 24-year-old front-woman Chloe Chaidez has hit her stride as a songwriter and band leader. Last year's Pink Champagne EP ushered in a new era for the group. Its songs, at once neurotic and euphoric, earned praise from Rolling Stone, Stereogum, PAPER, The Fader, i-D, MTV, Nylon, and Idolator.

And after a year of touring with artists such as Smashing Pumpkins, New Order, Girlpool, Hatchie, and Blue October, the band landed in Los Angeles, where they immersed themselves in a vibrant music scene and worked with everyone from groundbreaking newcomer Dorian Electra to Smashing Pumpkins' James Iha. At the same time, Chaidez immersed herself in Nasty Cherry, a new project created by pop luminary Charli XCX. Writing and collaborating with Charli proved an invaluable learning experience, and left Chaidez eager to push her own musical boundaries. Enjoy the results!
